What You'll Experience

Process steps

Here is what happens at your property — and what you will see at each step.

  1. 1

    Camera inspection and locate

We run a high-resolution camera through your line from the cleanout, identify problem areas, and locate them electronically so we know exactly where they are underground.

On your property: A technician with a camera reel and a locator — no digging. Takes 30–60 minutes.
  2. 2

    Written scope and quote

Based on the inspection, we write up exactly what is wrong, what method we recommend, and a written quote — liner length, access pits, cleanup.

On your property: A printed quote based on what the camera shows.
  3. 3

    Equipment staged, minimal footprint

We arrive with the liner truck, inversion equipment, and boiler. Everything is staged from the driveway or street.

On your property: One truck, a boiler unit, and equipment on tarps. Your yard stays intact.
  4. 4

    Line cleaned and descaled

We hydro-jet the line and descale any mineral buildup or roots so the liner bonds to a clean surface.

On your property: Water and debris exit through our vacuum — no mess in your yard.
  5. 5

Liner measured and cut to length

We measure the exact distance and cut the liner tube to length. The liner is custom-sized to your line.

On your property: A felt tube being saturated with resin on a roller table at the truck.
  6. 6

    Resin saturation and inversion

The resin-saturated liner is inverted into your existing pipe using air pressure, pressing the resin against the interior walls.

On your property: The inversion process takes 15–30 minutes. You may hear the air compressor.
  7. 7

    Cure

Hot water or steam is circulated through the liner to cure the resin. Cure time is typically 2 to 4 hours.

On your property: The boiler runs during the cure. The worksite is quiet and contained.
  8. 8

    Final camera inspection

We run the camera through the new pipe to verify the installation and locate the repair area and confirm the work is complete.

On your property: We confirm the liner is properly installed and the line is flowing.

FAQ

Questions about our trenchless repair process, step by step

The inspection and quote happen on a separate visit. The actual repair day is typically 6–10 hours on site, though longer or more complex lines can take additional time. We give you a timeline before we start.

You will be without sewer service for 4–8 hours during the lining and cure. We tell you the exact window before we start so you can plan. Water service itself is not affected — only the sewer line.

You do not need to be home for the repair itself, but you should be present for the camera inspection so you can see what we find. If you want to be home for the repair, you are welcome to watch — we explain each step as we go.

Light rain is not a problem — we work from tarps and protect the equipment. Heavy monsoon rain may require rescheduling for safety and quality reasons. We monitor the forecast and communicate with you.
